Rep. Luna: ‘I think the votes are there’ to expel Swalwell and Gonzales

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) has taken a bold stance in the ongoing controversy surrounding Reps. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) and Tony Gonzales (R-Texas). In a recent statement, Luna expressed her belief that there is enough support in the House to expel both representatives, who have been accused of sexual misconduct.

Luna, a rising star in the Republican party, has been vocal in her condemnation of sexual misconduct and has been a strong advocate for holding those in positions of power accountable for their actions. She has made it clear that she will not tolerate any form of harassment or abuse, regardless of party affiliation.

In regards to Rep. Swalwell, who has been facing bipartisan calls to step down after a recent scandal involving a suspected Chinese spy, Luna has stated that she will file a motion to expel him from the House. She believes that his actions have not only compromised national security, but have also brought shame to the institution of Congress.

“Rep. Swalwell’s association with a suspected Chinese spy is not only alarming, but it is also a clear violation of his oath to protect and defend our country,” Luna stated. “We cannot allow someone with such questionable ties to continue serving in the House of Representatives.”

Luna has also set her sights on Rep. Gonzales, who has been accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women. While Gonzales has denied the allegations, Luna believes that there is enough evidence to warrant his expulsion from the House.

“Sexual misconduct is a serious issue and should not be taken lightly,” Luna emphasized. “We must send a strong message that this type of behavior will not be tolerated in our government.”

Luna’s strong stance on these issues has garnered support from both sides of the aisle. Many of her fellow representatives have praised her for her bravery and determination in seeking justice for the victims of sexual misconduct.

“Rep. Luna is a true leader and a voice for the voiceless,” said Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.). “Her unwavering commitment to holding those in power accountable is commendable and I fully support her efforts to expel Reps. Swalwell and Gonzales.”

While some may argue that expelling these representatives would be a drastic measure, Luna believes it is necessary in order to maintain the integrity of the House and to send a clear message that sexual misconduct will not be tolerated.

“We must hold our representatives to the highest standards and hold them accountable for their actions,” Luna stated. “Expelling Reps. Swalwell and Gonzales is the right thing to do for the victims and for the American people.”

As Luna prepares to file her motion to expel these representatives, she remains steadfast in her belief that justice will prevail and that the House will stand united in condemning sexual misconduct. Her determination and courage serve as an inspiration to her colleagues and to the American people.

In conclusion, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna’s unwavering commitment to upholding the values of integrity and accountability in government is truly commendable. Her actions in seeking to expel Reps. Swalwell and Gonzales send a powerful message that sexual misconduct will not be tolerated in the House of Representatives. Let us stand with Rep. Luna in her pursuit of justice and support her efforts to hold those in positions of power accountable for their actions.
