Passenger Arrested For Stabbing Railway Police Officer On Malabar Express In Kerala

A Railway Police officer was injured after a passenger attacked him with a knife on the Malabar Express near Kottayam. The incident took place on Tuesday evening when the train was on its way from Thiruvananthapuram to Mangalore. The accused, identified as Ramesh Kumar, was arrested by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and has been remanded to judicial custody.

According to sources, the accused was creating a ruckus in the train compartment and was asked to calm down by the Railway Police officer, Mr. Rajan. However, instead of complying, the accused pulled out a knife and attacked Mr. Rajan, causing serious injuries to his arm.
