Neeraj Chopra, India’s ace Javelin Thrower has a strong liking for cricket. The reigning World and Olympic champion was recently asked to name the most stylish cricketer according to him. He went on to name three cricketers. However, his picks might come as a bit of a surprise as it does not feature the likes of MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, Hardik Pandya, and KL Rahul.

Neeraj Chopra has become India’s sports icon with his terrific performances on the world stage. Recently he was present at the Leaders India Meet organised by the Royal Challengers Bangalore in Bengaluru.

During the event, he featured in a rapid-fire interview and was asked the question. Neeraj went on to say, “Shreyas Iyer has a good choice of sneakers and clothes. There are however many. Shubman is also very stylish. Virat Kohli is also there.”

Neeraj also played cricket in his childhood and spoke about it in the interview. “I used to bat well. If I was asked to do throw bowling, then I used to do that well. I also used to field well.”

He also revealed an alternate career that he might have chose had he not become an athlete. “Photography is my hobby. Wherever I go, I take photos,” he added.

The 25-year old will next be seen in action only in 2024. He has a big year coming as he will be aiming to defend his Olympic gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
