India vs Pakistan in the 2023 ODI World Cup was tipped to be the biggest match of the tournament. But as per the broadcast details shared by the ICC, it is infact the India vs Australia ODI World Cup final that had the most number of people watching the game.

The IND vs AUS World Cup final had 59 million concurrent viewers while the IND vs PAK clash had 43 million viewers, match the IND vs NZ group stage match in terms of viewing. Ahead of the tournament, it was claimed that the clash between the two rival nations would be the biggest crowd puller.

But with India reaching the finals and tipped as the favorites, millions across the globe sat glued to their TV sets to watch India take on the Men in Yellow.

India faced Pakistan at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad where Rohit Sharma and Co comfortably outclassed their rivals by 7 wickets. But things took a sharp turn in the ODI World Cup final. The mighty Australians stole the show with their all round performance to end India’s 10-match unbeaten streak and lift the trophy.

Interestingly, India vs Pakistan match is 5th on the list of the most watched match in the World Cup. India vs New Zealand clash in the semi-finals is second on the list with 53 million peak concurrent viewers.
