ICC makes a mess of T20 World Cup 2024 Fixture announcement

The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the schedule of T20 World Cup 2024, set to be played in June in USA and West Indies.

While official broadcaster Star Sports announced only the India’s schedule in their live telecast, the ICC made the full announcement in a rush which left fans and journalists disappointed.

As soon as ICC made the fixtures announcement, the official website of the cricket governing body crashed. It took around 10 minutes for the website to get back up but the fans and journalists were unable to download the schedule through ICC Media Zone.

India vs Pakistan on June 9

The much-awaited India vs Pakistan is set to be played on June 9 in New York. India have been drawn into Group A with Pakistan, Ireland, the USA, and Canada.

The final of the T20 World Cup 2024 will be played in Barbados.
