Chasing a modest total of 143 runs, openers Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma completed their respective fifties with the bat as the visitors bowling line-up looked clueless at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai.
Earlier in the match, Titas Sadhu was the star with the ball as she bagged four wickets for just 17 runs. Phoebe Litchfield continued her fine run of form as she smashed 32-ball 49 to take Australia to 141. Earlier, India captain Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and opted to bowl against Australia in the 1st T20.
