Exposed: The CCP’s United Front Hub in America’s Heartland, Part II

From a single brick building on North Eustis Street in St. Paul, Minnesota, a web of pro-Beijing nonprofits and businesses collaborate with the Overseas Chinese Service Center of Minnesota (Minnesota OCSC), which works directly with China’s United Front Work Department. This revelation has sent shockwaves through the heartland of America, exposing the hidden influence of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in our own backyard.

In Part I of this series, we delved into the history and tactics of the CCP’s United Front Work Department, which aims to co-opt and control overseas Chinese communities and organizations. Now, in Part II, we will take a closer look at the Minnesota OCSC and its ties to the United Front.

The Minnesota OCSC was established in 1990 as a non-profit organization to provide social services and support to Chinese immigrants in the state. However, recent investigations have revealed that the organization has been working closely with the United Front to advance the CCP’s agenda in the United States.

According to a report by the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission, the Minnesota OCSC has received funding from the Chinese government and has hosted events featuring Chinese officials and propaganda materials. The organization has also been accused of censoring discussions about sensitive topics such as human rights abuses in China.

But the most concerning aspect of the Minnesota OCSC’s activities is its collaboration with pro-Beijing businesses and organizations. These entities have been using the OCSC as a front to promote the CCP’s interests and influence the local Chinese community.

One such business is the China-US Business Association (CUBA), which has been described as a “front group” for the United Front. CUBA has been actively involved in promoting Chinese investment in Minnesota and has close ties to the Minnesota OCSC. In fact, the two organizations share the same address and have collaborated on events and initiatives.

Another pro-Beijing organization operating in Minnesota is the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Minnesota (CCCM). The CCCM has been accused of being a “mouthpiece” for the CCP and has close ties to the United Front. The organization has also been involved in promoting Chinese investment in the state and has worked closely with the Minnesota OCSC.

These collaborations between the Minnesota OCSC and pro-Beijing entities are concerning because they allow the CCP to exert its influence and control over the local Chinese community. This not only undermines the values of democracy and freedom of speech, but it also poses a threat to national security.

The United Front’s efforts to co-opt and control overseas Chinese communities are not limited to Minnesota. Similar activities have been uncovered in other states, including California, New York, and Illinois. This highlights the widespread and coordinated efforts of the CCP to expand its influence and power beyond China’s borders.

But the exposure of the CCP’s United Front hub in America’s heartland is a wake-up call for all Americans. It is a reminder that the threat of the CCP’s influence and interference is not just a distant concern, but a reality that we must address.

We must stand united against the CCP’s attempts to undermine our values and democracy. We must also hold accountable those who collaborate with the United Front and promote the CCP’s agenda. It is our duty to protect our country and our communities from foreign interference.

The Minnesota OCSC and its ties to the United Front must be thoroughly investigated, and appropriate actions must be taken to ensure that our institutions and organizations are not being used as pawns by the CCP.

In conclusion, the exposure of the CCP’s United Front hub in America’s heartland is a stark reminder of the ongoing threat posed by the Chinese Communist Party. We must remain vigilant and take action to safeguard our democracy and protect our communities from foreign interference. Let us stand together and send a clear message to the CCP that their attempts to undermine our values and influence our country will not be tolerated.
