Ohio Republican pushes for Congress to act on Trump’s orders

Rep. Troy Balderson (R-Ohio) is calling on Congress to take action on President Trump’s recent executive orders, emphasizing the importance of the national legislature in ensuring continuity in public policy.

In a post shared on social platform X, Rep. Balderson urged his fellow lawmakers to make the president’s executive actions permanent, regardless of any changes in administration. He stressed that it is the responsibility of Congress to do its job and ensure that the policies put in place by the current administration are not undone by future administrations.

“The power of the executive branch is temporary, but the power of Congress is enduring. It’s up to us on Capitol Hill to make sure that President Trump’s executive orders become lasting policies that will benefit the American people for years to come,” Rep. Balderson stated.

The Ohio congressman highlighted the importance of continuity in public policy, especially during times of transition between administrations. He emphasized that the American people deserve stability and predictability in their government, and it is the duty of Congress to provide that.

“President Trump’s executive orders have been instrumental in promoting economic growth, job creation, and national security. It would be a disservice to the American people if we allow these policies to be reversed with every change in administration. Congress must act to make them permanent,” Rep. Balderson asserted.

The congressman also acknowledged the role of Congress in overseeing the executive branch and ensuring that the president’s actions are in line with the best interests of the country. He encouraged his colleagues to put aside political differences and work together to support the policies that are beneficial to the American people.

“Our duty as members of Congress is not to blindly follow the president, but to uphold the Constitution and serve the American people. We must work together to ensure that President Trump’s executive orders are in line with our country’s values and priorities,” Rep. Balderson stated.

He also reminded his fellow lawmakers that the American people are counting on Congress to deliver results and make a positive impact on their lives. He urged them to act swiftly and responsibly in supporting the president’s executive actions, which have already shown significant progress in improving the lives of Americans.

“As representatives of the American people, we have a responsibility to act in their best interest. President Trump’s executive orders have already shown positive results for our economy, our national security, and our communities. We cannot let political differences get in the way of doing what is right for the American people,” Rep. Balderson emphasized.

In conclusion, Rep. Troy Balderson (R-Ohio) is calling on Congress to take action and make President Trump’s executive orders permanent, ensuring continuity in public policy. He believes that it is the responsibility of the national legislature to provide stability and predictability for the American people, and to work together in support of policies that benefit the country. The congressman’s message serves as a reminder that Congress must put aside political differences and focus on serving the best interests of the American people.
