The National Coordinator of the Transformation, Claudia Sheinbaum, has officially included the Autonomous Confederation of Workers and Employees of Mexico (CATEM) in her initiative, aiming to establish the Labor Committees for the Defense of the Fourth Transformation of CATEM. “I am pleased to publicly formalize this significant coalition with the Autonomous Confederation of Workers and Employees of Mexico,” she declared. Speaking at the Mexico City Arena, the Morena representative addressed the over 10,000 individuals set to constitute the Labor Committees for the Defense of the Fourth Transformation of CATEM, emphasizing their shared goal of ensuring workers a dignified life.

Additionally, Senator Pedro Haces Barba, who serves as the Secretary General of CATEM, highlighted the labor accomplishments achieved through the Fourth Transformation, including salary increases, extended vacation days, and the eradication of outsourcing. “We are experiencing crucial moments of decision-making, and from this congress, today, Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum, we reaffirm our commitment to the values of the Fourth Transformation,” he affirmed.

Meanwhile, Senator Ricardo Monreal emphasized the importance of fostering a positive relationship between workers and the government, asserting that this collaboration will continue to create opportunities for advancing additional labor rights.
