School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences welcomes nine new faculty

Exciting news for students and faculty at our university! The new academic year brings with it a wave of fresh faces and new perspectives as we welcome a group of talented professors to our campus. These new additions will be joining various departments, including anthropology, economics, history, linguistics, music and theater arts, and philosophy, as well as the Program in Science, Technology, and Society. This diverse group of educators is sure to bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our university, enriching the academic environment for all.

In the anthropology department, we are thrilled to welcome Dr. Maria Rodriguez, a renowned expert in cultural anthropology. With her extensive research on indigenous communities and their relationship with the environment, Dr. Rodriguez will bring a unique perspective to our courses on cultural diversity and global issues. Her passion for fieldwork and commitment to social justice will surely inspire our students to think critically about the world around them.

The economics department is also gaining a valuable addition in Dr. James Lee, a leading economist in the field of development and globalization.
