In Kentucky, Trump tees off on Massie and urges his ouster: ‘The worst’

President Trump made a bold statement on Wednesday, lashing out at Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) for his opposition to the president’s agenda. During a visit to a packaging plant in Hebron, Ky., which falls within Massie’s 4th Congressional District, Trump urged Kentucky voters to replace the seven-term Republican in Congress.

The president’s fiery remarks came in response to Massie’s recent vote against the president’s “big beautiful” infrastructure bill. Trump, who has been pushing for a $2 trillion infrastructure package, was clearly disappointed with Massie’s decision to vote against the bill.

“Thomas Massie, he’s got to go,” Trump declared to the crowd at the packaging plant. “He’s a disaster for our agenda. He doesn’t vote for anything. He’s always against me. He’s got to be replaced.”

Massie, who has been a vocal critic of the president’s policies, has been a thorn in Trump’s side since the beginning of his presidency. The congressman has consistently voted against the president’s initiatives, including the recent stimulus package to combat the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

But Trump’s frustration with Massie reached a boiling point with his vote against the infrastructure bill. The president, who has been touting the bill as a crucial step towards rebuilding America’s crumbling infrastructure, saw Massie’s vote as a direct attack on his vision for the country.

“Thomas Massie voted against our infrastructure bill, which would have created millions of jobs and improved our country’s infrastructure,” Trump stated. “He doesn’t care about the American people. He only cares about himself.”

Trump’s criticism of Massie was met with cheers and applause from the crowd, who seemed to agree with the president’s sentiments. Many in the audience were workers from the packaging plant, who have been hit hard by the economic downturn caused by the pandemic.

“Thomas Massie doesn’t understand the struggles of working-class Americans,” Trump continued. “He’s too busy playing politics and trying to undermine my administration. But I won’t let him get in the way of progress. We need someone who will work with me, not against me.”

The president’s call for Massie’s replacement was a clear indication of his determination to have a Congress that will support his agenda. He urged Kentucky voters to elect a representative who will work with him to make America great again.

“We need someone who will put the interests of the American people first,” Trump emphasized. “Someone who will fight for our country and our future. Someone who will support my policies and help us achieve our goals. We need to replace Thomas Massie with someone who will make Kentucky proud.”

Trump’s visit to the packaging plant was part of his efforts to promote his infrastructure bill and rally support for his reelection campaign. He highlighted the importance of investing in America’s infrastructure and promised to continue fighting for the American people.

“We have a great opportunity to rebuild our country and create jobs for hardworking Americans,” Trump said. “But we need to have representatives who will support our efforts. That’s why we need to replace Thomas Massie. He’s not the right person for the job.”

In conclusion, President Trump’s strong words against Rep. Thomas Massie sent a clear message to Kentucky voters. The president is determined to have a Congress that will work with him to achieve his goals and make America great again. He urged voters to choose a representative who will support his agenda and help move the country forward. With the upcoming elections, it is up to the people of Kentucky to decide who will best represent their interests in Congress.
