Actress Robin Wright Says Leaving U.S. for U.K. Is ‘Liberating’: ‘America Is a Sh**show’

Actress Robin Wright has recently made headlines after announcing her decision to move from the United States to the United Kingdom. The House of Cards star has expressed her happiness and relief in leaving the U.S., calling it a “s**t show.”

In an interview with Breitbart, Wright shared that her move to the U.K. has been “liberating” and has given her a sense of freedom. “I feel like I can finally breathe again,” she said. “America has become a chaotic and toxic environment, and I couldn’t be happier to leave it behind.”

Wright’s decision to move comes as no surprise, given the current political climate in the United States. The country has been facing numerous issues, including the ongoing pandemic, social and political unrest, and a divided nation. This has taken a toll on the mental and emotional well-being of many Americans, including Wright.

“I couldn’t bear to be a part of a country that has become so divided and consumed by hate and negativity,” Wright shared. “I have always been proud to be an American, but the past few years have been disheartening to say the least.”

The actress also expressed her disappointment in the government’s handling of the pandemic. “The lack of leadership and proper measures taken to control the pandemic have been a major factor in my decision to leave,” she revealed. “I feel safer and more protected in the U.K., where the government has taken more decisive action to keep its citizens safe.”

Wright’s move to the U.K. has not only been for personal reasons but also for the betterment of her family. She believes that the U.K. offers a better education system and a more inclusive society for her children to grow up in. “I want my children to be raised in an environment where diversity and acceptance are celebrated, not looked down upon,” she said.

Many may criticize Wright for her decision to leave her home country, but she firmly stands by her choice. “I am not abandoning my country, I am simply choosing to live in a place where I can be happier and more at peace,” she stated. “I still love America and hope for a better future for it, but for now, this is the best decision I could have made for myself and my family.”

Wright’s move has been met with mixed reactions, with some praising her for her courage and others questioning her loyalty to her country. However, instead of focusing on the negative, Wright is choosing to see the positive in her move. “Leaving the U.S. has been a breath of fresh air,” she shared. “I have found a new sense of freedom and happiness in the U.K. that I haven’t experienced in a long time.”

In the end, Wright’s decision to leave the U.S. for the U.K. is a personal one, and she should be respected for it. It takes great courage to uproot one’s life and start fresh in a new country, and Wright is an inspiration for many who may be struggling with the same decision. As she continues to settle into her new home, we wish her all the best and hope that she finds the peace and happiness she is looking for.
