This season, the renowned Ellerstina squad, with a significant track record of achievements including multiple Argentine Polo Open championships, receives support from Yellow Rose, a club established in 1996 in Punta del Este by Jorge “Corcho” Rodríguez. Rodríguez, alongside his partner Vero Lozano and other notable figures, celebrated this unveiling.
Yellow Rose plays a crucial role in enriching the global polo landscape, operating across Argentina and Uruguay. Since 2021, it has expanded its polo activities in Argentina through a strategic partnership with Ellerstina. Despite Facundo Pieres’ departure to La Natividad this season, the team—comprising Nicolas Pieres, Bautista Bayugar, Gonzalo Pieres, and “Nachi” Du Plessis—boasts an impressive 35-goal handicap. The team is eagerly aiming for victories in the Argentine Triple Crown, which includes prestigious events such as the Hurlingham Open, Tortugas Open, and the Argentine Open Polo Championship.
