Hong Ru MFin ’10, PhD ’15 returns to MIT Sloan to teach the next generation of master of finance students
MIT Sloan School of Management is proud to announce the return of Hong Ru MFin ’10, PhD ’15 to its faculty. Dr. Ru has been an integral part of the MIT Sloan community since his graduation in 2010, and his return is a testament to the school’s commitment to excellence in finance education.
Dr. Ru’s career has been marked by a commitment to excellence and a passion for teaching. After graduating from MIT Sloan with a Master of Finance degree in 2010, he went on to pursue a PhD in Finance at the University of Chicago. During his time at the University of Chicago, he was awarded the prestigious Robert W. Fogel Award for Excellence in Finance Research.
Upon completion of his PhD in 2015, Dr. Ru returned to MIT Sloan to join the faculty as an assistant professor. During his time at MIT Sloan, he has taught a wide range of courses in finance, including Corporate Finance, Financial Modeling, and Financial Econometrics. He has also served as a mentor to many of the school’s master of finance students, providing guidance and support to those seeking to pursue a career in finance.
