Legendary Hollywood star Dick Van Dyke is celebrating his 98th birthday this Wednesday, and he’s speaking out about his beautiful 52 year-old wife, Arlene Silver. The two have been married since 2012 and Van Dyke is praising Silver for her unwavering support and love throughout the years.

Van Dyke, born Richard Wayne Van Dyke, is best known for his roles in classic films such as Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. At 98, he’s still going strong and is grateful for the love and support of his wife.

“Arlene is everything I could ever want in a woman,” Van Dyke said in a recent interview. “She’s beautiful, smart, and always there for me when I need her. She’s helped me stay healthy and happy for all these years and I’m thankful for that.”

Van Dyke and Silver met in 2010 while they were both on the set of a movie. Silver, who is a stunt woman and actress, was in awe of the legendary actor and was instantly smitten with him. She was also impressed with how down to earth he was.

“He was so kind and genuine,” Silver said. “I could tell right away that he was a special man.”

The two got married two years later and have been together ever since. Van Dyke and Silver have a great relationship and often go on adventures together. They’ve traveled to some of the most beautiful places in the world and continue to explore new places.

“We’ve been to some amazing places and it’s always an adventure,” Van Dyke said. “Arlene is a great travel companion and she’s always up for anything.”

Van Dyke is also thankful for Silver’s help in keeping him healthy. She’s encouraged him to stay active and eat healthy, which have helped him stay in great shape. He’s also a big believer in the power of laughter and believes that it’s one of the best ways to stay young.

“I’m so lucky to have Arlene in my life,” Van Dyke said. “She’s been a great support system for me and has helped me stay healthy and happy. I’m so thankful for her.”

As Van Dyke celebrates his 98th birthday this week, he’s sure to be surrounded by love. He and Silver are a great example of true love and happiness, and they’re sure to have many more happy years together.
