Sachin Tendulkar praises Bumrah, Markram for stellar performance in IND vs SA 2nd Test

Jasprit Bumrah shone on Day 2 of the IND vs SA 2nd Test to hand the Indians a series levelling win. Bumrah took a six-wicket haul to ensure the South African 2nd innings didn’t stretch beyond 176 runs, leaving India with only 79 runs to win. Little master Sachin Tendulkar heaped praises on the Mumbai Indians bowler after the match.

India had a lot to do after losing the IND vs SA 1st Test in the two-match Test series. India did deliver in Cape Town, and how! South Africa won the toss and decided to bat first, However, Mohammad Siraj-led bowling attack bundled out the Proteas for 55 in the first innings. India managed to score 153 runs before bowling South Africa out for 176 runs. India chased 79 runs with seven wickets to spare, earning a series levelling win.

The performers of the match were mostly bowlers. Only Virat Kohli in India’s first innings, and Aiden Markram in South Africa’s second innings standing out among batters.

In a social media post on X (previously Twitter), Tendulkar praised Jasprit Bumrah’s length and Aiden Markram’s approach in the match.
