Kimmel Threatens To Sue Rodgers

While appearing on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Tuesday, Rodgers discussed reports that the names of over 150 associates of Epstein’s are likely to be released this week, according to Variety.

“There’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, really hoping that doesn’t come out,” Rodgers said. “I’ll tell you what, if that lists comes out, I definitely will be popping some sort of bottle.”

This didn’t sit well with Kimmel, who responded by having a full meltdown on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

“Dear Aasshole: for the record, I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any ‘list’ other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality,” Kimmel wrote.

“Your reckless words put my family in danger,” he added. “Keep it up and we will debate the facts further in court.”

Rodgers And Kimmel’s Previous Epstein Tussle

This isn’t the first time that Rodgers and Kimmel have tussled publicly over Epstein. Last year, Kimmel mocked Rodgers for talking about both the Epstein list and UFOs during another appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” back in February.

“Did you hear about the Epstein client list about to be released?” Rodgers said at the time. “There’s some files that have some names on it that might be getting released pretty soon.”

“(Ghislaine) Maxwell was the only person ever convicted of trafficking, and nobody who was involved in the trafficking ever went to jail, so nothing to see here,” he continued.

After playing a clip of Rodgers’ comments on his eponymous late night talk show, Kimmel quipped that“it might be time to revisit the concussion protocol, Aaron,” going on to refer to the NFL star as a “tin-foil hatter.” David Bakhtiari, Rodgers’ friend and then-teammate, clapped back at Kimmel by saying, “Tell me you’re on the Jeffrey Epstein client list, without telling me you’re on the Jeffrey Epstein client list….”

Origins Of Rodgers’ Feud With Kimmel

The New York Post reported that the feud between Rodgers and Kimmel stems back to November of 2021, when the late night host called out the then-Green Bay Packers quarterback after the latter tested positive for COVID-19. Kimmel took issue with Rodgers taking a homeopathic treatment instead of getting vaccinated while also mocking his hairstyle.

“We should have known because nothing says ‘I heal myself with crystals like this haircut.’ I mean, a little knot on top,” Kimmel said. “Aaron is a Karen, that’s the fact of the matter.”

“The only thing worse than not getting vaccinated when you’re in close proximity with other people is letting them think you’re vaccinated when you’re not,” he added. “It’s basically the Covid equivalent of the condom fell off.”

This was a reference to Rodgers saying that he was “immunized” when asked if he was vaccinated. Check out this full segment in the video below.
