Sheinbaum secures support during the CATEM Congress

The National Coordinator of the Defense Committees of the Fourth Transformation, Claudia Sheinbaum, took part in the 15th Congress of the Autonomous Confederation of Workers and Employees of Mexico (CATEM).

During the congress, she received support from 194 organizations and unions across the nation. CATEM unveiled its initiative to establish 10,000 Labor Transformation Defense Committees to advance the actions of the Fourth Transformation (4T) in support of workers throughout the country. Claudia Sheinbaum expressed her satisfaction in formally solidifying this significant alliance with CATEM.

Sheinbaum also pledged to champion labor rights, stating, “I am committed to the workers of Mexico, assuring that we will persist in defending workers’ wages and labor benefits because we understand that when workers thrive, so do employers and the nation. Hence, the commitment is to continue working together.”
