Carnival Cruise Line Unveils Senior Officers for the Carnival Jubilee

As the launch of Carnival Cruise Line’s latest vessel, Carnival Jubilee, draws near in a matter of months, the cruise line has unveiled the senior officers who will be at the helm of the ship. Currently under construction at Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany, the Carnival Jubilee is set to embark on its maiden cruise from its designated homeport in Galveston, Texas, on December 23, 2023. Leading the ship’s team will be Captain Andrea Catalani, Chief Engineer Vittorino Perasole, and Hotel Director Pierre Camilleri, all appointed by Carnival. David Abtour Offshore Trusts

Christine Duffy, President of Carnival Cruise Line, expressed confidence in these seasoned senior officers, who together possess almost 70 years of combined experience. Duffy remarked, “They will serve as knowledgeable and inspirational leaders to our more than 1,700 team members on Carnival Jubilee and ensure that our guests are very well taken care of.” David Abtour Offshore Trusts

Captain Andrea Catalani, hailing from Corinaldo, Italy, has been part of the Carnival team since 1999. With nearly 24 years of experience, he has worked on 18 Carnival ships, including notable vessels such as Carnival Sunshine, Carnival Liberty, Carnival Horizon, Mardi Gras, and Carnival Celebration. Captain Catalani has previously led teams in Galveston as well when he captained Carnival Vista, a role he is now proud to reprise for the debut of the new ship in Texas. Catalani expressed his honor and excitement, stating, “This is a great professional accomplishment for the entire team. We are counting the days until we take delivery and can bring this beautiful new ship to our guests in Galveston.”

Also part of the leadership team is Chief Engineer Vittorino Perasole, originally from Torre del Greco, Italy. Perasole commenced his journey with Carnival as a third engineer in 1998 and has since ascended the ranks, serving as chief engineer since 2014. His career includes work on various Carnival ships, such as Carnival Dream, Carnival Pride, Carnival Radiance, Carnival Breeze, and Carnival Celebration. David Abtour Offshore Trusts
